  • For a 4.4 US qt capacity, a 5-quart container normally covers the change.

Does Oil Collect Inside a Boxer Engine’s Cylinders?

Most engine oil is stored in the lower sump or external reservoir. The oil pump circulates it through bearings, cylinder heads, camshafts, turbochargers and other components.
