How to Inspect an Oil Filter for Metal

Does the Engine Need an Oil Change, Repair or Replacement?
1 Oil and filter with monitoring
This may be reasonable only when the debris is minimal, the engine has no warning signs and the filter inspection or model-specific guidance supports monitoring.
