Choose GF-7A in place of GF-6A or GF-7B in place of GF-6B when the viscosity is correct. The newer standard is the more future-proof purchase.

Do not change viscosity during the upgrade. Replacing GF-6A 0W-20 with GF-7A 0W-20 is a category update. Replacing it with GF-7B 0W-16 is a viscosity change and requires manufacturer approval.
