It is the only piece listed as an option for those that do not already have one from the K24 or want a replacement. The oil pump tensioner from the K24A is the only part that is the same as the RSX. If you have an 8th gen SI K20Z3 you will need to modify your exsisting tensioner or add the RSX oil pump chain tensioner.
Can a K20 type s oil pump be installed on K24A?
This OEM upgrade includes all necessary parts to install a K20 Type S oil pump onto a K24A engine. This upgrade is needed to run the KMiata oilling solution on a K24A2 block. This package also includes the necessary machining to the oil pump to allow for adequate clearance on K24A2 blocks.
